Since 1955, Artcraft has been the workroom Indianapolis homeowners and designers send their pieces to. Over seven decades in, the tradition is the same: select craftsmen, real attention to every piece, quality as the only acceptable outcome.
Upholstery is the backbone of what we do. We've built our reputation one piece at a time — and our well-staffed upholstery department is equipped to take on anything from a simple pillow to a complex, museum-class antique.

Reupholstering is the smart alternative to spending more on lower-quality new furniture. Our team is built from select craftsmen with years of experience in custom upholstery, furniture reconstruction, and slipcovers — and we take real pride in workmanship and in service.
We've redefined what a traditional furniture upholstery shop looks like — an expanded work room and showroom under one roof. Every piece sent to Artcraft is completely refurbished. The preexisting fabric comes off. The frame is inspected and evaluated. Then the work begins on whatever it needs to become a unique piece of furniture again.
Hours of service
The workroom and showroom are open by walk-in or appointment. Saturday visits are honored — call ahead so a craftsman is on hand to discuss your piece.
